SmoothTunnel and SmoothNode are Add-On Modules for SmoothWall Corporate Server that provide a comprehensive IPSec Virtual Private Network (VPN) capability. SmoothTunnel is the VPN Gateway module to support multiple tunnels whereas SmoothNode allows Corporate Server to open a single VPN tunnel to a VPN Gateway (such as SmoothTunnel). Both modules will inter-operate with a variety of IPSec VPN solutions from other companies.

Licensing

The SmoothTunnel module allows 5 VPN connections to be configured and certificates generated. To configure more VPN connections purchase SmoothConnection 5, 10, 20 or 50 connection packs. For example, 20 nodes requires the SmoothTunnel module (supporting 5 nodes) plus SmoothConnection5 and SmoothConnection10 packs. If only a single tunnel is needed at a location, eg a branch office, then purchase the SmoothNode module.
